Fam the Silver Wing is an interesting series with almost everything going for it that suffers, in the second half, from a death by a thousand cuts--it has so many subtle but significant issues with the plot, structure, and message that the whole thing is drug down by the weight of it.

After nearly a decade I finally got around to watching the classic fanboy romantic comedy Please Teacher, and while it does a lot of things to distinguish itself from the norm, in terms of actual quality it's largely a shameful disaster.

Gravion Zwei: Either a much better parody, or they gave up on being serious and decided to turn the show into a joke. Either way, a marked improvement, if even more ridiculous and over-the-top than Gravion.

Gravion does exactly the same parody/homage of old-school mecha action as Godannar, with only slightly less fanservice, but the execution is so poor it's hard to tell if it's a somewhat bad parody or a really bad straight action-comedy.
